Magdalene are set to battle it out with the big boys in Division 1 next year
As the end of the season approaches The Tab keeps you up to date with the action in Rugby’s Division 2
Following victories last Thursday, both Queens’ and Magdalene have gained promotion to the top tier of college Rugby.
Queens’ defeated Tit Hall 17-0, whilst Magdalene were handed an automatic 50-0 walkover win after the joint Selwyn-Peterhouse team yet again failed to field a side.
Queens’s are firm favourites for the Division 2 title; a win against Fitz will guarantee them the top spot.
Down at the bottom of the division Selwyn-Peterhouse are already relegated, whilst Fitz and Pembroke battle it out to avoid the drop.
Fitz demolished Pembroke 30-5 in their last encounter and will be confident of repeating the result when the two sides meet next week.
Pembroke must win their remaining matches if they are to have any hope of avoiding relegation to Division 3.
