Minimalism is elegance. It is timeless style. It is the Audrey Hepburn of trends. Luckily for us many of the Spring/Summer ’12 trends work well for those of us who prefer clean lines to the cluttered.

Work it by framing yourself in a swinging a-line coat for a modern twist on Twiggy. Channel Chanel by pairing a boxy, monochrome jacket with matching shorts. Or why not dress your waist in a peplum (See photo number 1): it’s the shape of the season and may I just say, it does wonders for the figure.

    The concept of these shots are lovely, but the make-up ruins it. If it's supposed to be minimalist and sculptured, why is the make-up splodgy? Surely it should match the theme with edgy, sculpted lines…
